Mission statement/manifesto/philosophy/why we're still in business/whatever you call it...
We always try to:
  • Make an honest budget and stick to it.
  • Notice that inspiration is everywhere, we don't even have to know where to look; we just gotta make sure we’re paying attention.
  • Treat folks with respect, integrity, and honesty; expect and insist the same in return.
  • Remember that lots and lots of people have really good ideas.
  • Get the best people we can find to help us.
  • Reap what we sow, and sow a whole bunch of good stuff.
  • Learn something new every project, but don't charge the client for learning time.  Charge the next client for the new skills.
  • Make sure stuff works on all modern browsers.
  • Never be a jerk.
We hope to get better at:
  • Not saying yes to everything and everyone, because it makes the ‘yesses’ less potent if they don't all come through.
  • Telling you it will be done tomorrow, when more than likely it will take a few days.
  • Making more time for learning.
  • Timely modern communication.
  • Under-estimating budgets and timelines, then working too much overtime to make it happen.
  • Trying more things where the success of the outcome is unknown.  Most often, we’re pleasantly surprised.
